Description of the event
As professionals in the EdTech, Instructional Design and eLearning space, there is One question that come up all the time…”How to create more engagement and a better learning experience to encourage completion of a course?”.
And you know what, we all know how Customer / User Experience (CX / UX) are crucial, why not leveraging on that to design the optimal learning experience? The concept is the same.
The good news here is that this is not “just” about the technology you use or the content you provide.
This is all about the experience and the design. The way you design your course, adding the right medias and interactions at the right time and the right place will help you to improve engagement, retention, and completion rate. And a touch of technical expertise about Articulate Storyline.
This virtual workshop will naturally complement the Moodle LMS Virtual Workshop sessions. Our 2 hours introductory Course is a hands-on session designed to help attendees get more of the skills they need to produce course content that instructionally sound and engaging to the end user.
We look forward to facilitating your virtual workshop and do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or queries.

Thanks a lot for the basic introduction to Storyline. This was an informative webinar especially for someone who has never worked with Storyline.

Thank you David. You helped clear my basic doubt of how Storyline is different from ppt. Also your demo helped in understanding the features and few tools used in storyline. Hoping to put this new knowledge to use. Also I appreciate that you took the time to answer our queries. Keep up the good work. Wishing you all the best. Thank you!

The class was great. It was nice to see what Storyline 360 could do. The session goes a bit quickly, so there is only time to watch. The doing and practicing has to happen on your own time. I can’t wait to see the replay so that I can follow along and do all the cool things David showed us.

Hi Barbara, thanks for the stars!! Looking forward to see you again in another workshop.
Thanks for the good review.

The first 15 minutes of the session were focused on promoting the EdTech Club. The next 5 minutes compared Articulate to other softwares, then explained SCORM and how Articulate is compatible with different LMSs. Following that, we heard a review of the other types of applications available through Articulate, saw a demo of an interactive PowerPoint, and got a summary of the instructional design process. We didn’t even start looking at the basics of the Storyline 360 tool until 31 minutes into the 1-hour training. This workshop was not the step-by-step guide to building eLearning that it was advertised to be… half of it was a basic orientation that did not respect my time as I had planned it. His language was hard to follow, and he did not explain the meanings of many of the new terms used in the tool menus before showing us what they can do. There were long delays between questions in the chat and responses to them. You can tell that he knows the tool very well, but struggles with explaining it to this audience. I do appreciate the exposure to this software, but I feel less prepared to work with Storyline than I had wanted to be after this training.

Hi Julie,
Thanks a lot for your feedback and for sharing these areas of improvement on the first version of the workshop.
We improved it based on your points and we are not running for few weeks a new version of the workshop.
As we are receiving more positive feedbacks we understand we are moving to the right direction.
I personally thank you again for your message, this is the best way for us EdTech Club to ensure we are meeting your needs with what we are proposing.
